American actress Allison Brooks Janney was born November 19 1959. Over the course of her thirty years, Allison Brooks Janney has been recognized for both stage and film performance. There were also nominations to win two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston and was raised at Dayton (Ohio). Her scholarship allowed her to take classes in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney began her TV debut in 1999 with the character C. J. Cregg, a role she played in the political drama NBC's The West Wing (1999 to 2006.) and won Four Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney got her Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for Outstanding Actresses in Drama Series. She won this award due to her character Margaret Scully in Showtime's drama Masters of Sex. Janney received nominations at least six times for Primetime Emmy Awards and twice received the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress Comedy Series.
